Karen has owned 6 cafes in the last 20 years - 5 of them in Western Australia. as a chef overseas for 7 years, with only one goal when leaving there to finally relocate to be with her husband, and that was to do it all over again with a lovely local neighbourhood cafe on beautiful Waiheke Island.
Bisou opened in 2020, with a complete new fitout transforming the previous sandwich bar to a white vibrant space.

Jane was the driving force behind Frenchot on Waiheke Island, an extremely popular French style restaurant, that was also located in Surfdale Village. After a two year hiatus, and many requests from locals to bring back their favourite dishes, she is back and up and running again completing this wonderful creative partnership.
